What It Does
Does it work with prop firm accounts?
Yes. Discipline Master is designed specifically with prop firm rule enforcement in mind. Configure your daily loss limit to match your firm's drawdown rules and it will protect your evaluation automatically.
What exactly happens when a rule is triggered?
All open positions are flattened immediately and new entry orders are blocked for the remainder of the trading session. A violation record is written to the log with the timestamp, rule triggered, and your account state at that moment.
Can I lock all my accounts at once, not just the one that broke a rule?
Yes. The Global Lockout button locks every account Discipline Master is watching in a single click — positions flatten and new entries block across all of them, not just the account tied to the triggered rule. Use it to step away from the desk, sit out a scheduled news release, or stop trading everywhere the moment you know you should.
Can I set different rules for different instruments?
Yes. Rules can be configured per instrument or applied globally across your entire account depending on your setup preferences.
Setup & Compatibility
What version of NinjaTrader does Discipline Master support?
NinjaTrader 8 only. NinjaTrader 7 is not supported. Discipline Master is built as a native NT8 add-on and runs entirely within the platform.
Is my trading data sent anywhere?
No. Your trading data stays on your computer. Like all our NinjaTrader products, Discipline Master does send limited telemetry to our servers — installation events, session starts, the product version, and your license identifier — which we use for license validation and troubleshooting. It never sends your trades, positions, P&L, account numbers, balances, strategy parameters, or chart data. Telemetry is required for licensing and cannot be disabled. Does it conflict with other NinjaTrader add-ons?
Discipline Master is designed to run alongside other NT8 indicators and strategies without conflict. If you experience any compatibility issues, contact support@badbuddhacustoms.com and we'll investigate.
