Enhanced Volume Label puts the volume numbers you would otherwise work out by hand into a compact panel on your NinjaTrader 8 chart, updated tick by tick.
What the panel shows
- Price and the current bar’s OHLC
- Today against the 30-day average — both figures and today as a percentage, so an unusually heavy session stands out
- This bar against the 30-bar average — the same comparison at bar scale
- Sell-side share — the split between buying and selling pressure, color-coded so the dominant side reads at a glance
Why it helps
Volume only means something relative to what is normal. Having both comparisons on the chart means no switching windows and no arithmetic in your head mid-session.

Control Center → Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-On, then select the downloaded file. Don’t unzip it first.

What volume metrics does the Enhanced Volume Label show?
Enhanced Volume Label shows a panel on the chart comparing today's volume against the 30-day average and the current bar against the 30-bar average. It also shows the sell-side share, color-coded, so you can see buying versus selling pressure, and it updates tick by tick.
Does it work on prop-firm evaluation and funded accounts?
It runs inside NinjaTrader 8 on whichever accounts your session is connected to, whether sim, evaluation or funded. It only draws on your chart and places no orders. It reads volume, including the buying and selling split, so it depends on the volume your data feed sends for the instrument. Your prop firm’s rules are its own, so check them before you add any tool to a live account.
